This is an astounding production that
reunites former Elvis band mates live on
stage with a state of the art
video-projected Elvis. The concert is
returning to the stage and tickets for
the 2012 UK tour are on sale now. Visit theElvis Presley in Concert
tour schedule page
for a listing of dates, locations and links

The
show's concept is to present an authentic as
possible Elvis Presley concert. The
producers edited together a collection of
Elvis' finest concert performances that
exist on film and video and removed
virtually all sound from the footage except
for Elvis' vocal. The Elvis footage is
projected on a large video screen. On stage
a 16-piece orchestra and some of Elvis'
original band mates from the concert era of
his career and other cast members perform
live with the Elvis video. All music heard
in the concert production is performed live
except for Elvis' voice. On either side of
the Elvis performance screen are screens
that carry live action from the stage. From
the first song it's magic. You're at a real
Elvis concert.
Elvis concert footage
for the show comes primarily from material shot
for the MGM concert films "Elvis, That's The Way
It Is" (1970) and "Elvis on Tour" (1972) and
from the historic 1973 global television special
"Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii, via Satellite." This
footage contains some of Elvis' finest
performances from the big concert era of his
career, the era that is celebrated by the Elvis
Presley In Concert production. The
1970-1973 footage shows Elvis at the pinnacle of
his superstardom, at the height of his powers as
a concert performer, and in top form physically.

other than the principal players who travel
with us are hired in the cities and regions
our show appears. We also engage a local
choir in some cities on our tours. The
show has a dynamic song program similar to
that of previous tours, although adjustments
in repertoire do occur from tour to tour and
production values of the presentation got a
real boost, including the use of Elvis
footage camera loads not used on previous
tours.
Songs Line-up
The Elvis performance footage comes
from these programs: the "Elvis" (a.k.a. the
'68 Comeback) television special, the 1973
"Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii, via Satellite"
television special, and the MGM concert
films "Elvis, That's the Way It Is" (1970)
and "Elvis on Tour" (1972).
Suspicious Minds featured in the
show
All our singers
and musicians play live. The Elvis
performance footage is presented with
virtually all the sound removed but for
Elvis's voice. The only pre-recorded music
you hear in our show is Elvis Presley's
voice and what small amounts of the original
accompanying music could not be removed from
the Elvis performance material.

For the following 3 days Elvis
had rehearsals at noon in the
showroom of the Las Vegas
Hilton. Ordered by Dr. Nick,
Elvis did only one show a night,
except for Saturdays.
Elvis performed at the
Convention Center, Anaheim,
California. Now Linda had left,
Ginger attended the show and
according to many Elvis '
performance improved. Later
Elvis told Larry Geller he was
inspired by the presence of
Ginger.
